Electrical Site Manager | Substation Projects

Most site roles talk about responsibility.

This one gives you full control of the job.

If you’re used to being stretched across multiple sites or stuck between meetings and reports, this is different. You’ll take ownership of a live project and run it properly, day to day, from mobilisation through to commissioning.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for running site activities end to end. That means:

• Managing subcontractors and keeping workfaces productive
• Driving the programme and short-term planning on site
• Coordinating across electrical, mechanical and civils teams
• Owning site safety, quality and daily delivery
• Working closely with the Project Manager to resolve issues early
• Leading from the front, not from a desk

You’re likely already:

• A Site Manager, or a strong Supervisor stepping up
• Working on HV, substations, or industrial projects
• Comfortable in live, safety-critical environments
• Someone who prefers being on site, solving problems, and getting things built

You don’t need to tick every box on paper. Strong construction and HV experience matters more than titles.
