THE ROLE

As an AI Engineer, you will deliver impactful AI and GenAI solutions to solve diverse business challenges and advance the organisation’s use of advanced technology. You’ll lead projects from initial concept to production, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver high-value analytics initiatives. Your work will set technical standards, champion best practices, and foster a culture of innovation within data science teams.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, build, and deploy scalable GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and AI agents.
  • Deliver production-ready AI solutions with measurable business impact.
  • Implement AI engineering and LLMOps best practices, including evaluation, monitoring, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases.
  • Drive innovation through experimentation with emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
  • Communicate complex AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.


YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake).
  • Expertise in ML frameworks and libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • In-depth knowledge of GenAI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases).
  • Full project lifecycle expertise: experimentation, deployment, and ongoing production.
  • Experience with MLOps tools (Mlflow, feature stores, CI/CD, containerisation, model monitoring).
  • Good understanding of data engineering principles, pipelines, orchestration (Fivetran, Airflow, Azure Data Factory).
  • Ability to translate business needs into analytical or AI solutions.
  • Experience in financial services, ideally wealth or asset management, is desirable.
