Family Support Worker, Wakefield Council (Part-time)Pay rate to £21.58 per hourContract roleVitalis are recruiting for experienced Family Support Worker to work in a Team in Wakefield Council.Wakefield Council require a Family Support Worker with experience of covering Family Time contact as this will be their main duties. The position is for 12 weeks initially until a permanent member of staff is recruited so the position could be extended. The position is part-time, to work at the start of the week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning or Wednesday afternoon. The worker will need access to a car, be able to transport children, and have business insurance. Role Requirements and Candidate Experience: The requirements for a part-time family time contact worker, emphasizing the need for candidates with prior experience in children's services or family time supervision, and considered the applicability of candidates from residential backgrounds.· Essential Experience Criteria: The ideal candidate should have prior experience in family time contact or children's services, as the role requires someone who can start immediately without a training period.· Consideration of Residential Backgrounds: If candidates from residential backgrounds would be suitable, and Richard agreed that such candidates may have transferable skills, especially if they have supervised family time in residential settings.Don’t forget, if this role isn’t the perfect fit, we’re confident we can find one that is.
