Requirements

Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma‐informed way

Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths and/or Science

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)

Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references

Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs

Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

Provide in‐person, online/remote and hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to children, teenagers and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs

Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate for your skills, referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‐informed tutoring and mentoring

Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress

Work as part of a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD. Your role is integral to that mission
