About The RoleLate shift 2:30–10pm on a 3 on 3 off rotation, part time 24.5 hours a week. Night shift position 3 on 3 off rotation, full time 38.5 hours a week.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents. This includes personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene, meals and helping with daily activities in the home.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility in adult social care and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know how to report concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training as necessary.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to residents, including washing, dressing, hygiene and meals.

Support residents with daily activities in the home.

Offer comfort to residents who are distressed and provide compassionate end‐of‐life care.

Recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and report concerns appropriately.
