OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and dynamic band 6 Nurse to join our team in Jenner Ward – Cardiology Unit. The role requires a commitment to professional development and high standard patient care within a busy 34‐bed cardiology ward closely working with Coronary Care Unit, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Cardiac Day Care Unit.
Responsibilities
Support the clinical nurse manager in delivering high quality care
Actively involved in audit and improving care
Coordinate the ward and ensure smooth patient flow in the absence of the clinical nurse manager
Assist with procedures such as Angiogram, Angioplasty, Rotablation, Pacemaker insertion and Internal Loop Recorder insertion

Qualifications
Sufficient experience in a relevant specialist area
Teaching qualification
Relevant postgraduate course
