About The RoleProject Management (Level 6)

Location: Ipswich (with travel to operational sites and the University of Suffolk as required)

Salary: Competitive + benefits

Contract: Full-time Fixed-Term Contract (40 months)

OCS is excited to welcome our first cohort of Project Management Degree Apprentices, delivered in partnership with the University of Suffolk. OCS is a leading international facilities management company supporting organisations across the UK and globally.

Starting in June 2026, you will be based at our head office in Ipswich, with the opportunity to support contracts nationally.

You'll gain valuable hands‐on experience, working alongside experienced facilities management professionals, while studying towards your BSc (Hons) Project Management Degree Apprenticeship.

Why choose a Degree Apprenticeship? Instead of choosing between university and starting work, this programme allows you to do both.

You will gain industry experience at OCS while studying for a fully funded BSc (Hons) Project Management Degree through the Level 6 Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship standard (ST0411).

By the end of the programme, you will graduate with:

A university degree

Several years of real project experience

A recognised professional qualification

No student tuition fees

What You'll Do at OCSAs a Degree Apprentice, you'll be part of a supportive team, working across live business projects that support our operations and customers. You will:

Support the planning, coordination and delivery of real business projects

Work with project managers and stakeholders across the organisation

Monitor project risks, schedules and resources

Contribute to project documentation and reporting

Bring fresh thinking and creative problem‐solving to the team

By the end of the programme, you'll have the skills and experience to lead complex projects independently and confidently.

Entry Requirements

96 UCAS points (CCC at A‐Level / MMM BTEC / T Level Pass)

GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)

A passion for problem‐solving, organisation and teamwork

A commitment to learning and applying new skills

Full driving licence

What You'll StudyDelivered through the Level 6 Project Manager Degree Apprenticeship (ST0411), the programme blends academic study with workplace learning across three years.

You will study topics such as project planning and scheduling, risk management, finance and procurement, project governance, and leadership in project environments.

With expert guidance, practical workshops, real project documentation, and weekly project surgeries, you'll learn skills you can apply immediately in your role at OCS.
