Job DetailsLocation: Office based primarily but home working is available for up to 2 days per week

Hours: 5 days per week - 9am until 5pm (Monday - Friday)

Salary: £25,000 - £27,500+ Negotiable

Contract type: Permanent

Role purposeAn exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Paraplanning team providing paraplanning support to the Paraplanners, Advisers and wider business.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Providing paraplanning support to the Financial adviser team across more simple products and cases with a view of developing into more complex advice areas and cases in development and learning journey

Sending Letter of Authorities to third party providers

Chasing outstanding information with third party providers

Analysing of policy information

Preparation of basic suitability letter and reports

Accurately recording clients data and compliance

Communication between client and adviser to ensure both parties are updated throughout the process

Working within desired timescales for completion of tasks

Project a professional image in both appearance and attitude and provide quality support on time to agreed standards

Maintain up to date industry knowledge and awareness by attending training days and keeping abreast of advice and process changes internally

Develop technical competence at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of the role

Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, clients and third parties.

Person Specification

Genuine interest in Financial Services and paraplanning as a long term career

Interest in taking exams and keen to develop is essential

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Highly organised

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

IT Skills

Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times

Works well as an individual and also as part of a large team
