ResponsibilitiesDelivering lessons that lastUsing our smart learning tool, Compass, you'll deliver tailored sessions where you facilitate learning through questioning, scaffolding and stretching.
Building meaningful relationshipsWith a 16 ratio, you'll get to know each child and create a safe, inspiring environment where they can take risks and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Driving academic progressSupport members as they work through the national curriculum, entrance exams and GCSE preparation, celebrating milestones and successes along the way.
Qualifications
Are confident leading sessions with small groups (16), inspiring children to engage in their learning, using positive behaviour management strategies and consistently prioritising their safety and wellbeing.
Feel comfortable supporting children aged 4‐16 across the national curriculum, including 11+ entrance exams and GCSE content.
Are committed to building meaningful, long‐term relationships, providing the consistency and stability that helps children thrive.
Have achieved a grade 6 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level (or equivalent). Predicted GCSE grades accepted if results will be received within the next three months.
Location and Working HoursThis is an on‐site role and you will be based at our Camberley centre.
You will be contracted to work a minimum of 6 hours a week over at least 2 different weekdays. Our available shift start times are:
3:30‐4pm – Tuesday
3:30‐4pm – Wednesday
3:30‐4pm – Thursday
3:30‐4pm – Friday
Morning/afternoon – Saturday
Pay Rates & Progression
Under 18 – £8.40 per hour
18‐20 – £10.90 per hour
21+ – £12.75 per hour
Additional 50p per hour if working at a centre inside the M25. You will be paid for all training and inductions.
