Care Support Worker – UK Visa Sponsorship AvailablePosition Summary

We are looking for a caring and committed Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing high quality care and assistance to individuals in a variety of settings including senior care, supported living and home care settings. This position needs a strong dedication to improving the quality of life for our clients via personal care, companionship and help with everyday activities.

Position Description

Assist clients with personal care, including washing, grooming and clothing.

Assist clients with meal prep and dietary needs.

Help in taking medications and following treatment plans as prescribed.

Engage clients in activities that support mental and emotional health.

Use behaviour management tactics as necessary to successfully help clients.

Transport people to appointments/social events as needed.

Keep accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to appropriate personnel.

Create a secure, supportive environment for all clients, respecting their dignity and privacy.

Skills

Experience in caring for the elderly or in home care is extremely desirable.

Knowledge with home care procedures and assisted living settings is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create connection with customers and their families.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to operate as a team member and individually.

Driving licence valid preferred for transporting clients where required.

Compassionate nature with a sincere desire to assist others in enhancing their quality of life.
