Borehamwood

Elstree (near Theobald Street & Ripon Park)

Hemel Hempstead area

Weekdays (Mon–Fri): £14.20 per hour

Mileage allowance: £0.30 per mile

28 days annual leave (pro rata)

We provide care 7 days a week with flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle:

Day Shifts: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

Evening Shifts: 03:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Experienced female care assistants with a passion for helping others

Willingness to travel locally (mileage paid)

Job DescriptionYour Role as a Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide person‐centred support to help people live independently and enjoy fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting daily living activities & promoting independence

Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming)

Supporting with mobility, transfers & aids

Providing medication support as per care plans

Preparing meals, drinks & monitoring nutrition

Helping with household tasks (cleaning, laundry, shopping, errands)

Offering companionship, reassurance & emotional support

Encouraging hobbies, interests & community activities

Keeping accurate records & communicating with families/professionals

QualificationsNo experience is necessary – we'll train you in everything else! All we ask is that you bring:

Compassion, empathy & patience

Flexibility & adaptability

Stamina to support mobility tasks

Problem‐solving skills & common sense

Respect for diversity & cultural awareness

Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle

Right to Work in the UK
