Registered Manager - Solo Placement EBD Children's HomeLocation: Swindon

We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of our client, who is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a newly established solo placement Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Swindon.
This is a rare opportunity to take full responsibility for a small, highly focused service supporting one young person with complex needs. You will play a key role in shaping the home from the ground up and ensuring outstanding, child-centred care is delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home
Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations
Provide strong, supportive leadership to staff and external professionals
Develop and implement personalised care plans for the young person
Promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment
Drive continuous improvement and high standards of care
Manage safeguarding, risk assessments and quality assurance processes
About You
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in children's residential care
Strong understanding of EBD, trauma-informed practice and safeguarding
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
