Job description

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant for night shifts at Southbourne Beach Care Home in Bournemouth.

Responsibilities

Deliver high standards of personal care and support residents' independence and dignity.

Assist residents in all personal hygiene care.

Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections) and report risks promptly.

Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.

Practice safe systems of work across various tasks.

About the RoleExperience is not required; comprehensive induction and training will be provided.

Qualifications and Skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Initiative and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues.

Efficient working style, able to follow reasonable instructions from team members.

Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.

Additional Requirements

DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
