Having launched in 2019, Curaa has grown its footprint across the South and Southwest of England and plans to continue this journey in the future.Our commitment to excellence is driven by our core values of respect, integrity, community, and learning.Respect: We value diverse perspectives and foster an inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and heard.Integrity: We build trust with residents, partners, and colleagues by doing what is right, especially when no one is watching.Community: We support each other and engage with the broader society beyond our office walls.Learning: We foster a culture of learning to remain innovative and adaptable in a constantly evolving world.Responsibilities Deliver quality personal care to each of our residents.Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, toileting, dressing and undressing, and support to maintain independence, dignity, and respect.Encourage residents who may have difficulty eating or swallowing to enjoy their meals in a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere while maintaining dignity and respect.Assist people with restricted mobility to move to social activity areas and to their bedrooms at their request.Attend to residents who may have reduced continence control, ensuring personal hygiene needs are met and skin integrity is maintained.Carry out care activities in line with the care plan for less active residents, including turning and moving to reduce the risk of pressure sores.Keep bedroom areas tidy and comfortable by making beds, changing bed linen, and cleaning as required.Be responsible for regular cleaning of equipment used in personal care, including commodes and wheelchairs.Practice safe systems of work, particularly in moving and handling, assessing risk and prioritising safety for residents, visitors, and staff.Understand health and safety responsibilities, including moving and handling and fire safety procedures.Act courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality to help them feel at home.Contribute to the team by responding to colleagues and recording interactions in the personal care software.Care for equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs; ensure safe and tidy storage of supplies and equipment.Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.Develop relationships with relatives to support residents effectively.Requirements A team player who engages well with others.Strong communicator and influencer.Energetic and hard-working.Flexible and adaptable to change.Passionate about offering superior services and making a difference.
