Avara Foods is looking for a highly competent and motivated Internal Recruiter to join our team at our Brackley (Northamptonshire) site. This role is pivotal in driving recruitment excellence, leading a small recruitment team, and supporting internal succession and talent development.

Purpose of the RoleThe Internal Recruiter will manage end‐to‐end recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, while building strong talent pipelines for both immediate and future needs. You will lead recruitment initiatives, coach hiring managers, and champion internal mobility and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the recruitment team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Ensure all recruitment activities comply with Avara's ethical standards and UK employment legislation, including Right to Work checks and GDPR compliance.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for salaried, hourly, and early‐career talent roles, from attraction to onboarding.

Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver effective solutions.

Develop talent pools and succession plans to support career progression and internal mobility.

Provide recruitment metrics and market insights to inform decision‐making and continuous improvement.

Ensure cost‐effective recruitment strategies and demonstrate ROI.

Promote Avara Foods at recruitment fairs and through digital channels to attract diverse talent.

Maintain ATS accuracy and compliance, and recommend innovative recruitment strategies.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and/or in-house talent acquisition.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a recruitment team.

Excellent knowledge of UK employment law, Right to Work regulations, and ethical recruitment practices.

Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Strategic mindset with experience in succession planning and talent development.

Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS systems.

Flexible approach to working hours to support a 24/7 operation.
