Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Cambridge, Cambridgeshire)At Harmony Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a lovely young girl in Cambridge who lives at home with her family. Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently, and with dignity in their own home.

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the ClientOur client is a young child who enjoys fashion, online shopping and Barbies. They benefit from structured routines, reassurance and support both at home and in the community. A carer who is calm, patient and confident working independently will thrive in this role.

A driver is required for this role, due to our client living in a rural area with no direct access to public transport.

Clinical Requirements

Tracheostomy care

Ventilation

Suctioning

Medication administration

Full specialist training and competency sign‐off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available

Night shifts – 22:00 to 08:00

What The Role Involves

Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client's home

Supporting with community access and social activities

Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks

Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support

Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting people with complex needs

Confidence with clinical tasks (or a willingness to train)

Strong communication and reliability

Empathy, emotional intelligence and person‐centred values

Ability to work independently and professionally

Referral Bonus

£150 for every Healthcare Assistant you refer

£250 for every Registered Nurse you refer

Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
