About the roleWe are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join our award‐winning team at Camberley Heights Care Home in Surrey. This role requires the delivery of high‐quality personal care and maintaining continuity of services to residents.

Job responsibilities

Assisting residents with personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals.

Recognising clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.

Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.

Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

About you

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and others.

Be an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from team members.

Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Qualifications

Experience not required; thorough induction and training programme provided.

Must hold a DBS Disclosure check; cost covered by employer.

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) is required to check for any previous criminal convictions.
