Patient Transport Driver - Windsor (Full Time 37.5 hours p/w)Full‐time post for 37.5 hours per week.

You must have a C1 licence to be considered for interview.

Post is based at Windsor Dialysis, 1 Maidenhead Road, Old Ambulance Station, Windsor, SL4 5EY – includes a 5 % fringe payment.

Main duties of the jobTransport patients to and from their homes or places of residence in a safe and professional manner, following pre‐determined schedules and organising routes to optimise patient safety and efficiency.

The unit operates Monday to Saturday, with three shifts covering the hours 06:00 to 12:30 and midnight; duty is entirely daytime with no night shifts.

Drive all types of vehicles to the required standards, ensuring patient comfort at all times and in accordance with the Road Traffic Act and DVLA regulations. Complete Trust induction and mandatory driver‐related training.

Experience

Previous experience of vocational driving with evidence of driving similar vehicles

Experience in making deliveries to a schedule

Experience of record keeping

Previous experience of working in the NHS

First Aid

Skills

Good knowledge of Windsor and the surrounding areas
