About The RolePosition: Event Steward – Liverpool

Hourly Rate: £12.71 (Entry Level) — £13.45 (depending on role & location)

What You'll Be Doing

Monitoring access points and site perimeter patrolling.

Ingress control – ticket validation, accreditation checks, guest direction and queries.

Crowd management – foot traffic direction, maintaining order, reporting anti‐social behaviour, ensuring crowd safety plans are adhered to.

Deliver approachable customer service and support.

Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour / take appropriate action.

Egress control.

Reporting and recording details of irregularities, incidents, searches and patrols.

What We're Looking ForEssential:

Over 18 years old.

Skills & Experience

Great customer service skills.

Friendly, approachable and confident engaging with the public.

Good awareness of security risks and threats present at events and festivals.

Confidence working in busy, high‐energy environments.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and record issues.

Additional Requirements

Happy camping and able to provide the essential camping equipment (if working at festivals).

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

You may be required to gain an L2 Spectator Safety certificate as part of your employment; this training will be provided by FGH Training free of charge.

If your application is successful, you'll need to complete security screening in line with BS7858:2019, along with a DBS check. If you already have a valid Standard or Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months, this can be used. If not, FGH Group is happy to arrange a DBS check for you. In this case, you would cover the cost of the check, and FGH Group will take care of the administration fee.
