Bank Staff Nursery PractitionerLocation: Avon Valley Nursery, Keynsham

Hours: Flexible, bank/ad‐hoc shifts

Rate: Up to £14.70 per hour depending on experience and qualification.

The RoleWe're looking for enthusiastic, reliable Bank Staff Practitioners to support our nursery team on a flexible, as‐needed basis. This role is perfect if you want flexibility around your schedule, love working with children, or want to gain experience or return to childcare.

Supporting children's learning and development through play

Helping create a safe, nurturing environment

Working as part of a team to keep the day running smoothly

Supporting EYFS activities and routines

Building positive relationships with children and staff

Maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene and care

Ideal CandidateReliable and flexible, friendly, positive, approachable, confident working with children, and a team player who can adapt quickly. Ideally, you have experience in a nursery or childcare setting and hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (preferred but not essential).

What Your Day Might Look LikeArrive and get a quick handover from the team. Support children with play, learning, and routines. Get involved in activities and farm visits. Help with mealtimes or transitions. Work alongside the team to keep everything running smoothly. Head home knowing you made a difference.
