Our Trust is looking for experienced Healthcare Support Workers with a minimum of 12 months experience in a Hospital, Residential or Care home setting, who are able to work effectively in a variety of different Adult wards and departments and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be committed to demonstrating our Trusts ICARE values.

After a qualifying period, our Bank Healthcare Support Worker role offers a variety of shifts including early, late, long day and night shifts with flexibility to support a positive and flexible work life balance.

Training & Qualifications

Literacy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D-G, 3-6)

Numeracy level 1 or equivalent (GCSE D-G, 3-6)

The Care Certificate

NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent or above in Health or Health and Social Care or working towards an award

ESOL level 2 or equivalent (if English not first language)

Experience & Knowledge

Experience in a public facing/customer care role or environment

A minimum of 12 months care experience

Previous experience in a Health/Health and Social Care role

Previous NHS experience / Understanding of NHS/Social care systems

Skills & Ability

Good written and verbal communication in the English language
