Health Care Assistant - Community

Job description

Main DutiesProvide health and educational support in accordance with each child's care plan/EHCP/IEP/statements, support nursing staff and SENCO in reviewing each child's care, and provide healthcare and emotional support to children/young people with complex healthcare needs, including life limiting/life threatening conditions, within the school setting at Ash Field Academy special school.

Work with pupils aged 4‐19 with a range of special educational needs to help them achieve the best possible learning outcomes. Engage with staff, governors, parents and carers, ensuring pupils achieve success. Work under the values of Trust, Respect, Aspiration, Collaboration, and Kindness, guided by the school motto "Reach for Success".
