About the RoleAs a Care Assistant at Braintree Mews Care Home, your focus will be delivering high standards of personal care and contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene care, ensuring independence, dignity and respect.

Recognise and manage clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and signs of infection, escalating risks promptly.

Maintain courteous interactions with residents and visitors, respecting each individual's dignity.

Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Initiative, respect for residents, and a commitment to the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable conduct.

Ability to follow reasonable instructions, adapt to varied responsibilities on short notice, and work efficiently as part of a team.

Experience in the care industry is not required; a thorough induction and training programme will be provided.

Additional Requirements

DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
