Night Care Assistant – Hallhouse Care HomeLocated in the peaceful village of Fenwick, East Ayrshire, Hallhouse Care Home provides high-quality residential, nursing, and respite care for up to 47 residents.

Contract DetailsFull‐time. Contract: Full Time. Salary: £13.60 per hour. Shift type: dayshift. Additional £1 per hour for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday). 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.

About Hallhouse Care HomeSet in the peaceful village of Fenwick, Hallhouse is a purpose-built, 47-bed care home offering residential, nursing, and respite care. We have a Care Inspectorate grade of 5 and a carehome.co.uk rating of 9.9.

Responsibilities

Support personal care needs with dignity and discretion.

Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns.

Create a peaceful, reassuring environment.

Assist with hydration and nutrition where needed.

Maintain accurate records and support the nursing team.

Help residents settle down for the evening and feel secure overnight.

Qualifications

SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred but not essential.

A caring, compassionate approach and genuine interest in working with older people.

A team player who is reliable, respectful, and comfortable working night shifts.
