Care Assistant – School HoursLocation: Cheltenham, Gloucester & Tewkesbury.

Contract type: Care Delivery.

Salary: £12.84 per hour.

Bluebird Care is the leading Home Care provider. We are looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our School Hours Care Expert Team and help us set the standard.

We seek a caring individual for 9.00am-2.30pm, Monday to Friday. This role is designed for those who prefer family‐friendly hours (no early mornings, evenings, or weekend work). You will provide one or two visits a week for personal care, household chores, and meal prep. Travel across the area is required.

Responsibilities

Provide high‐quality care tailored to each person's individual needs.

Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).

Help with meal prep, nutrition, and meal service.

Support medication management and safe disposal.

Carry out light housework (tidying, laundry, general cleaning).

Be a dependable friendly face for all customers.

Requirements

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.

Ability to follow care plans.

Previous care experience is beneficial but not necessary; full training provided.
