Overview We are looking to recruit a dynamic and well‐motivated Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) with good communication and IT skills, a passion for working with people and an interest in food and nutrition.Responsibilities Support dietitians in delivering care to adults in a variety of settings, including the patients' own home, care homes, residential care and out‐patient clinic.Assist in the roll‐out of a new model of dietetic prescribing for Oral Nutritional Supplements (ONS).Provide clinical administration duties, spending a significant amount of time on the computer using Excel, Word and digital platforms such as Near Me.Support the delivery of training and education to other staff where appropriate.Participate in undergraduate student training, helping students achieve their learning outcomes and providing high‐quality placements.Provide services flexibly, including over weekends and extended hours when necessary.Qualifications Excellent IT skills, confident in using Excel, Word and digital platforms such as Near Me.Must be a car owner and hold a full UK driving licence.NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
