ResponsibilitiesYour focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and fully contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Assisting residents with personal hygiene care, ensuring optimal independence, dignity, and respect at all times.

Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, or signs of infection, and escalating any identified risks promptly.

Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.

Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Qualifications and RequirementsExperience is not required; we provide a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence in the role.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrated initiative and respect toward residents and other members of the team.

Efficient worker capable of following reasonable instructions from team members.

Adaptable and flexible, able to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).

Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
