Are you someone who shines in the evening hours? Do you have a few hours to spare in the evening and a genuine passion for helping others? Home Instead Andover & East Wiltshire is looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Evening Care Assistants.

About the roleAs a Care Assistant, you will support older adults in their own homes, helping them live independently and with dignity.

Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility support)

Meal preparation and support

Companionship and emotional support

Pet care and assistance with social outings and appointments

Working hoursPart‐time hours based on your preferred regular availability.

Regular clients to support continuity of care, including paid introductions to clients before you start care visits.

Rotas planned up to 6 weeks ahead.

Availability to work every other weekend is essential.

Pay and benefits£13.00 per hour weekdays (£13.50 specialised care)

£13.50 weekends (£14.00 specialised care)

Paid travel time.

Mileage allowance of 45p per mile.

TrainingFull training provided – no previous care experience required.

Qualifications and requirements

Caring, reliable, and professional approach.

Ability to work independently.

Willingness to work alternate weekends (essential).

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential, working in rural locations).

Must live within travelling distance of Marlborough & Pewsey.

Enhanced DBS check and references required.

Right to work in the UK required.
