Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding – Home/Field based

Trainee salary: £25,000 - £28,000 + BONUS of up to £12k per annumQualified salary: £27,000 – £30,000 + BONUS of up to £12k per annum(Salary depending on level of delivery)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

This opportunity is opentoanunqualifiedAssessorcandidatewhoisseekinganewopportunityawayfromhands-on care, to train and become an Assessor of Health and Social Care Apprenticeships!

Must have experience of working at Senior level, or above, within an Elderly care setting.

Confident to deliver Mathsand English Functional Skills.

Happy to conduct online remote assessments – and face to face when required

Must have a good level of ICTskills

Full, clean driving licenceand use of a vehicle.

Must be flexible with travel

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care Levels 2, 3 and/or 5 (depending on level of competency).

Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Mathsand English to level 2.

Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.

Organiseand maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Support, advise and motivate learners.

Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.

Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
