About the RoleWe currently have a vacancy for a full‐time Senior Healthcare Support Worker in Woodend Theatres, an elective orthopaedic suite with six theatres and two recoveries (12 beds in total). The theatres provide care for patients receiving orthopaedic procedures, ranging from shoulder to foot surgery, as well as neck, spinal and tumour surgery. The position works Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
Provide patient support during orthopaedic procedures in theatre and recovery.
Assist the surgical team with circulating tasks and ensure procedural efficiency.
Adhere to mandatory induction and complete the Circulating Competencies standard workbook for Healthcare Support Workers.
Qualifications & Training
Experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not essential.
In‐house training will be provided to meet the required competencies.
