McCarthy & Stone are recruiting for a professional Relief Care Assistant to join the team at the prestigious Roswell Court development in Exmouth, Devon. Built in 2013, Roswell Court is a Retirement Living Plus development with 54 apartments tailored for residents over 70, providing excellent on‐site facilities and surrounded by beautiful grounds.

Hourly rate and hoursHourly rate: £13.26 per hour, with up to an additional £1.30 for working evenings and weekends.

Hours: Cover shifts on an 'as and when' basis as required, to be discussed with the Development Manager.

About the roleAs a Relief Care & Support Assistant, you will provide high‐quality individual care to residents, enabling them to live well into later life. Responsibilities include:

Housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.

Supporting residents in participating in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.

Assisting with appointments, transport, shopping and escorting residents on visits.

About you

Warm, friendly, with ideally some experience in care or support.

Passionate about improving the wellbeing and happiness of older people, and enjoys working as part of a busy team.

Driven to deliver excellent customer service.

Preferably holds a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, or has an alternative qualification and relevant experience.
