PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Responsible for leading communication and alignment with Category, Commercial, and Regional teams to ensure the commercial strategy is effectively translated into store layouts. The role focuses on maximizing business return through efficient and effective retail space planning. Key responsibilities include aligning stakeholders on layout development, coordinating with external agencies from the initial planning phase through layout sign‐off, and supporting the Commercial Space Manager in the delivery of optimized retail solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Acts as the key interface with Category teams, ensuring continuous alignment on development plans and translating category strategies into effective layout solutions

Leads the layout lock process for new developments and refurbishments, working closely with both global and local stakeholders to ensure timely approval and sign‐off

Collaborates with Technical Designers, Project Managers, and external agencies to ensure all layouts comply with commercial, operational, and business planning principles

Ensures layouts are delivered within agreed project timelines, proactively identifying and addressing risks or misalignments that could impact delivery

Applies a strong understanding of furniture bibles, store concepts, and brand personalization guidelines to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and brand integrity in layout planning

Supports cross‐functional teams by providing clarity and guidance throughout the layout development process, from initial concept through final approval

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A graduate‐calibre professional with strong commercial awareness and numerical skills, comfortable working with data to support space and merchandising decisions.

Proven experience in retail or in a similar environment and a strong track record of delivering results

Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines

Good understanding of space planning and merchandising principles, and how layout decisions impact wider business functions

Hands‐on experience with space planning tools. (AutoCAD is a plus)

Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence, align, and communicate clearly across different teams

Additional languages are a plus, as well as a mindset focused on continuous improvement, teamwork, and leading change
