Salary: £25,989 - £26,403 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract type: Fixed term role for 24 months

The RoleThe Data Analyst Apprenticeship role supports the duty to protect and improve health, wellbeing and safety through data and evidence. You will work with a broad range of tasks, from statutory public health intelligence to lifestyle surveys, to help guide investment and programme targeting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support data analysis, surveys and reports presenting complex findings to diverse audiences

Support delivery of statutory public health intelligence, including JSNA, Annual Public Health Report and outbreak response

Coordinate Joint Strategic Needs Assessment on behalf of the Health and Wellbeing Board

Lead the annual city‐wide wellbeing survey and other lifestyle surveys

Conduct deep‐dive analysis on priority areas such as child development and domestic abuse

Develop reporting dashboards to support service monitoring for areas such as Environmental Health, Trading Standards and NHS Health Checks

About You

Demonstrate ability to understand and interpret statistics and work with data, with an understanding of areas you wish to develop through the apprenticeship

Self‐motivated, able to work well within a team, balance organisational workload with study commitments, and complete assignments for the apprenticeship

Knowledge and experience of spreadsheets and databases to store and retrieve data
