\n\nAbout the Role\n

As an HGV Mechanic, your primary mission will be to ensure our fleet is in top-notch condition, adhering to both legal and company standards. You will play a crucial role in:

• Inspecting and maintaining our HGV fleet

\n

• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and transporting them to the test center

\n

• Recording vehicle defects and maintaining accurate records of work performed

\n

• Repairing minor accident damage

\n

• Conducting fault diagnosis

\n

• Prioritizing safety in all aspects of your work

\n\n\nKey Skills & Experience\n

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

\n

\n
• \nQualifications: City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.

\n

• \nExperience: Commercial experience with HGVs is essential.

\n

• \nLicensing: A Class C+E license is preferable but not essential.

\n

• A strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

\n

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize your workload effectively.

\n\n\nWorking Conditions\n

Location: Droitwich Depot (WR9 0LW)\nContract: Full Time / Permanent\nShift Patterns: 5 out of 7 days, including weekends

• Weekend rates: Saturday - £22.45 per hour, Sunday - £29.69 per hour

• Unsociable hours premium for shifts between 18:00 - 04:00 at £22.78 per hour
