Project Engineer
Role Summary
A Project Engineer, overseeing the end-to-end coordination of engineering activities across the Grimsby to Walpole upgrade.
Key Responsibilities
Lead coordination of:
- Design integration
- Ground and site investigation activities
- Land access and permitting
- Oversee contractor performance and delivery across multiple work fronts
- Ensure all subcontractors and delivery partners are aligned and mobilised
Manage:
- Programme delivery
- Risk and issue resolution
- Technical coordination across disciplines
Interface with internal teams including:
- Design
- Commercial
- Land teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, technical, and programme requirements
Requirements
- Strong civil engineering background (degree qualified preferred)
Experience in:
- Utilities/power/transmission/pipelines/rail infrastructure
Proven track record in:
- Project delivery and coordination (not just site engineering)
Experience managing:
- Contractors
- Subcontractors
- Multi-disciplinary teams
