SEN Teaching Assistant

For some children, having the right support in the classroom changes everything.

We're currently working with supportive schools across Peterborough who are looking for caring and patient SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across education settings.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children build confidence, feel understood and achieve their potential within school.

No two days are ever the same, but every day brings the chance to make a real difference.



The role:

  • Supporting pupils with SEN needs including autism and ADHD
  • Providing 1:1 and small group classroom support
  • Helping pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing and confidence
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs


We're looking for:

  • Experience supporting children or young people
  • SEN experience is desirable
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Passion for SEN education and classroom support
