Business Development Manager – Patient Handling & Fall Prevention
South of England | Field Based | Full-Time
Territory: South East (including London), South Coast, South West, M4 Corridor & South Wales
£40,000 – £50,000 Basic DOE + £10,000 OTE Commission + Annual Bonus + Company Car

Due to continued growth and increasing market share, our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to cover the South of England.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with NHS or healthcare sales experience looking to join a growing organisation with strong long-term potential.
The RoleAs Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth while developing strong relationships across NHS Trusts, healthcare providers, procurement teams, and clinical stakeholders throughout the South.
You will promote a portfolio of patient handling and fall prevention products including slide sheets, transfer sheets, and associated healthcare solutions.
This is a field-based role suited to someone who enjoys managing their own territory, building relationships, and developing strategic NHS accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow relationships across NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations
- Identify and win new business opportunities throughout the territory
- Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and product evaluations
- Support Trust-wide product rollouts following successful trials
- Engage with procurement, supply chain, and purchasing departments
- Work closely with clinical teams and end users to support product adoption
- Manage territory planning, pipeline activity, forecasting, and CRM updates
- Attend exhibitions, industry events, and customer meetings across the region
- Experience selling into the NHS or healthcare sector
- Strong business development and account management skills
- Experience engaging with procurement, supply chain, or purchasing teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a large territory independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience within patient handling, moving & handling, or healthcare products
- Understanding of NHS supply chains and pricing structures
- Field-based medical or healthcare sales experience
- £40,000 – £50,000 Basic Salary DOE
- £10,000 OTE Commission
