Are you ambitious, driven and motivated to build a successful career in MedTech sales? We’re partnering with a global leader in surgical innovation looking to hire a Sales Specialist to support their growing General Surgery division across Northern Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business renowned for its market-leading technology, strong innovation pipeline and commitment to developing its people. Working within a close-knit and supportive team culture, you’ll play a key role in supporting surgeons and theatre teams with advanced surgical solutions used in minimally invasive procedures.


This role offers a highly visible clinical sales environment, spending around four days per week within hospital theatres working closely alongside surgeons and healthcare professionals.


Everything you need to know about the role

As a Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for driving adoption and usage of a portfolio of advanced surgical technologies across hospital accounts throughout Northern Ireland. You’ll work closely with surgeons, theatre staff and wider clinical stakeholders to support surgical procedures, deliver training and build strong long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and growing relationships across NHS and hospital accounts within your territory

• Supporting surgeons and theatre teams during live surgical procedures

• Spending significant time within operating theatre environments

• Driving product adoption through education, clinical support and relationship management

• Delivering training and in-service support to healthcare professionals

• Identifying commercial opportunities and contributing to territory growth

• Collaborating closely with wider sales, marketing and clinical support teams

• Maintaining a high level of clinical and product knowledge within the surgical space

• Providing excellent customer support in a fast-paced hospital environment


Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

• Based in Northern Ireland

• Highly ambitious, motivated and commercially driven

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to build relationships in clinical environments

• A science, biomedical or medical-related degree is highly desirable

• Previous medical sales experience is advantageous

• Candidates from outside MedTech will also be considered if they can demonstrate a genuine passion and motivation to build a career within the medical device industry

• Comfortable working within hospital and theatre environments

• Resilient, proactive and eager to learn

• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset

• Full UK driving licence
