About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Client Service Specialist to join a growing Employee Benefits team, supporting a portfolio of UK and multinational clients.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality account management and client service across a broad range of employee benefits, including Group Risk, Private Medical Insurance, and Pensions. You will work closely with consultants and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, strong client relationships, and efficient management of client schemes.
Employee benefits experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a portfolio of UK SME clients, working alongside consultants on pensions, group risk, and healthcare schemes
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries and supporting relationship development
- Support renewal processes, including liaising with insurers, gathering data, and obtaining market quotations
- Assist with new business processes, including quotations, market reviews, and onboarding of new clients
- Prepare and manage client data for reporting and provider submissions
- Support clients with benefits strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives
- Assist with M&A activity, including data gathering, analysis, and reporting
- Produce draft renewal and recommendation reports
- Manage scheme administration, including membership changes and documentation
- Maintain accurate records across CRM and back-office systems
- Support compliance processes and documentation within the business
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to provider panel management
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 3 years’ Employee Benefits experience within an insurer or consultancy
- Strong technical knowledge across Group Healthcare, Group Risk, and Pensions
- Proven experience supporting client relationships and delivering high-quality service
- Experience using CRM systems and managing client data
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills across email, phone, and face-to-face interactions
- Strong attention to detail and process-driven approach
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong time management skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
