Recruitment Resourcer

Permanent People Rec2Rec is looking for a Recruitment Resourcer

Job description

Recruitment Resourcer – White Collar Construction

Newcastle (NE13) – Hybrid / Flexible Working

Up to £32,000 base salary + uncapped commission

We’re working with a growing recruitment business that launched its Newcastle office last summer and has already built strong momentum within the white-collar construction market.

Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to hire a Recruitment Resourcer to support an experienced consultant - with a clear progression path into managing your own desk longer term.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys the candidate side of recruitment but is ambitious and wants to develop into a full 360 consultant role in the future.

The Opportunity

You’ll initially focus on:

  • Sourcing and headhunting candidates across the white-collar construction sector
  • Supporting live permanent vacancies
  • Building candidate pipelines and talent networks
  • Managing candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process
  • Working closely with experienced recruiters and learning the market

Over time, there will be genuine opportunity to:

  • Progress into managing your own client relationships and vacancies
  • Build your own desk
  • Develop into a fully-fledged consultant within the business

What They’re Looking For

  • Recruitment experience in any sector (resourcing/delivery experience absolutely considered)
  • Someone proactive, organised and confident speaking with candidates
  • Ambition to progress into a consultant/360 role over time
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • A collaborative, down-to-earth personality

Construction recruitment experience isn’t essential.

What You’ll Get

  • Up to £32,000 base salary + uncapped commission
  • Flexible working hours
  • Hybrid / work-from-home flexibility
  • Free parking
  • Supportive, non-micromanaged environment
  • Genuine progression opportunities as the office continues to grow

The Environment

This is a relaxed, mature and supportive team where people are trusted to do their jobs without heavy KPIs or micromanagement.

The Newcastle office has had a really successful start and there’s plenty of opportunity for someone to grow alongside the business and carve out a long-term career.

If you’re looking for a role where you can learn, develop and eventually build your own desk within a supportive construction recruitment environment, this could be a brilliant fit.
