Reporting line: Reports directly to the CEO, with a dotted-line to the Commercial Director to ensure strong alignment between operations and commercial priorities.

Direct Reports: Sales & Operations Executive


Role Purpose

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading TYPEBEA's global supply chain and operational execution across all markets. This role facilitates the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring strong alignment between demand, supply, and commercial priorities.


You will oversee the movement of inventory globally, from production and packaging through to different global warehouses and DCs. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and external partners, ensuring high service levels across both B2B and D2C channels, driving efficiency, inventory optimization, and scalability to support business growth.


Key professional skills and knowledges

S&OP & Supply Planning

·      Facilitate and lead the monthly S&OP process, aligning sales forecasts, marketing plans, and supply capabilities

·      Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to improve forecast accuracy and demand visibility

·      Develop supply and replenishment plans across global markets, ensuring product availability for 9-12 months horizon

·      Identify potential inventory risks and opportunities in demand and supply, propose, develop and implement mitigation plans proactively

Global Inventory & Logistics Management

·      Maintain visibility and accuracy of inventory in-transit and across global warehouses

·      Monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies, optimise inventory to minimise stockouts and excess

·      Manage international freight operations across air, sea, and road transport and optimized landed cost

·      Coordinate with freight forwarders to optimise cost, transit time, and service levels

·      Oversee export and import processes, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations

3PL Performance and order fulfillment

·      Manage relationships with global 3PL partners

·      Track KPIs including, SLA, OTIF, order accuracy, and cost-to-serve

·      Ensure both B2B and D2C order fulfillment SLA and compliances across global markets

·      Conduct performance reviews and drive continuous improvement

Packaging Sourcing & Co-Manufacturing Management

·      Work closely with marketing in sourcing of packaging and co-manufacturing for NPDs

·      Ensure production and supply schedule are adhering to BPD timeline and supply plan

·      Negotiate commercial terms to ensure optimized Cost of Goods (COGs),  as well as guaranteed quality and service

·      Manage relationships and performance of contract manufacturers and suppliers

 

Leadership and Management skills  

·      Accountability, hands-on, business-acuminous

·      Collaborative with multi-functional teams and stake holders

·      Strong cross-function and cross-organization communication skills

·      Balance between strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

·      Structured problem solving and continuous improvement

·      5–8+ years in operations, supply chain, or logistics within beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG

·      Experience managing global supply chains and 3PLs

·      Experience in B2B and D2C fulfillment

·      Familiarity with ERP, WMS, Shopify, EDI

·      Strong analytical and Excel skills
