Senior Associate – Litigation & Dispute Resolution (Construction & Engineering)

5–7 PQE | London


Our client is seeking an outstanding Senior Associate to join its market-leading Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in London, specialising in Construction & Engineering disputes.


This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented disputes lawyer with 5–7 years’ PQE to work on a broad range of contentious construction matters, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and other forms of dispute resolution.

Key areas of expertise include:

  • Developers – advising many of the UK’s leading commercial developers on managing construction risk and resolving disputes with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • PFI & Infrastructure – acting for project companies, investors, funders and service providers on disputes arising from the design, construction and operation of major infrastructure projects, including government buildings, hospitals, schools and waste facilities.
  • Housebuilders – representing major housebuilders in claims relating to planning, design, procurement, materials and workmanship.
  • International Work – advising on complex cross-border disputes involving large-scale developments and international engineering projects, often with multi-jurisdictional elements.


The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in contentious construction and engineering matters gained at a leading City, international or specialist practice
  • Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills
  • Experience handling sophisticated disputes and managing client relationships
  • A commercial, solutions-focused approach
  • England & Wales qualification and a strong academic background
