  • Location: Central London / Hybrid Working
  • Salary: £50,000–£60,000 + Performance Bonus


We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to join a growing and dynamic B2B Events & Exhibitions business based in Central London.


This is an exciting opportunity for a results-focused sales professional with experience in events, exhibitions, conferences, or media sales to take ownership of revenue growth and build strong relationships across key industry sectors.


You’ll play a pivotal role in driving sponsorship, exhibition, and delegate sales, identifying new business opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships.


The Role:

As Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Driving new business revenue across exhibitions, conferences, sponsorship and event solutions
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of B2B sales opportunities
  • Identifying and engaging prospective clients through outbound sales activity
  • Developing relationships with senior decision-makers across multiple industries
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
  • Growing and nurturing existing client accounts to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Working collaboratively with marketing and event teams to support campaign success
  • Attending industry events, meetings and networking opportunities where required
  • Meeting and exceeding revenue targets and KPIs


About You:

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, exhibitions, events, conference or sponsorship sales
  • A strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing complex sales processes and high-value accounts
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • A self-motivated and driven mindset with a passion for winning new business
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
