Project Manager | Fire & Security (Projects)


Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for delivering projects from design stage through to client handover. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, programme delivery, and commercial performance within the fire and security sector.


The Role

You will manage projects end-to-end, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations. You will work closely with internal departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution and high standards throughout.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from design through to completion and handover
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent delivery of quality work
  • Oversee subcontractors and commissioning teams, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and industry standards
  • Liaise with design teams and manufacturers to ensure technical suitability and client satisfaction
  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and report regularly to the Operations Manager and commercial team
  • Identify and secure additional works and support tendering activities
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, safety, and team performance
  • Carry out regular health and safety inspections and ensure compliance at all times


Requirements

Essential:

  • Industry experience within construction and/or fire and security
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills


Desirable:

  • 5–10 years’ industry experience
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of fire and security systems
