Commercial Intellectual Property Solicitor / Partner – London – Up to £180,000 + Bonus

A leading boutique Legal 500 law firm with a standout reputation in the London market is looking for a Commercial IP Solicitor / Partner to join its London office. You will work with a high-quality, diverse client base across complex commercial, IP and data matters, with a unique opportunity to establish and grow a specialist IP practice within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The Role

• Lead the development of a Commercial IP offering within the London office
• Build and scale an IP practice, leveraging existing client relationships and incoming work
• Advise on a broad range of commercial contracts with a focus on IP, data protection and technology and drive growth across key sectors
• Work closely with colleagues across a highly collaborative and partner-led environment
• Mentor and support the development of junior lawyers within the team
• Lead business development activity and play a key role in driving the firm’s growth strategy
• Contribute to the wider strategic direction of the firm as part of the senior leadership group

The Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor with extensive experience in Commercial Contracts and IP
• Existing following of c.£400k+ or strong evidence of business generation
• Background from a reputable City, boutique or international law firm
• Strong track record of winning work and developing long-term client relationships
• Experience advising on cross-border matters or working with international clients
• Leadership capability with a desire to build and grow a high-performing team
• Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach
