Job Title: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

We are looking for a motivated and design focused Part II Architectural Assistant to join our client’s growing team in Birmingham.

The Role:

As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you will support the design and delivery of residential led schemes, from early concept stages through to planning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of concept designs, layouts, and masterplans
• Prepare high-quality drawings, visuals, and presentation material
• Support the preparation of planning applications and supporting documents
• Work collaboratively with architects, urban designers, and consultants
• Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and research
• Contribute to design reviews and client presentations
• Use software such as AutoCAD / Revit

Requirements:

• RIBA Part II qualification
• Experience working on housing and/or master planning projects
• Strong design, layout, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit
• Good understanding of UK planning policy and residential design principles
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
