We’re partnering with a leading investment management firm to hire a Senior Client Reporting Analyst with strong Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) expertise to support a growing, data-driven reporting function.
This role sits at the intersection of reporting, data, and technology, with a strong focus on report automation, data architecture, and system optimisation.
The Role
You will take ownership of client reporting production while playing a key role in enhancing and evolving the firm’s reporting infrastructure. A significant part of the role will involve leveraging Vermilion (VRS) to build, migrate, and optimise reporting outputs, alongside supporting broader data initiatives including Snowflake integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production and validation of complex client, regulatory, and marketing reports using Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS)
- Own and optimise report builds within VRS, including templates, data mapping, and output automation
- Drive the migration of legacy reporting processes into Vermilion, improving scalability and consistency
- Work closely with data teams to support data sourcing, transformation, and integration, particularly into Snowflake
- Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, validate, and manipulate large datasets for reporting purposes
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance reporting efficiency through technology
- Partner with Front Office, Product, and Sales teams to deliver data-driven client outputs
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across all reporting deliverables
About You
- Strong experience in client or performance reporting within asset / investment management
- Advanced, hands-on experience with Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) is essential
- Proven experience working with data models, data mapping, and reporting architecture
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to work directly with large datasets
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms highly desirable
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau or other visualisation tools beneficial
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and performance reporting concepts
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a data-driven environment
