The Role

OTC FX & Commodities Derivatives Trade Support Analyst (minimum 2-year’s FX/ Commodities Middle Office, or FX Commodities Settlements experience)

Martis Search are representing a City of London based, but global Trading institution to hire a multi-asset class “OTC FX & Commodities Derivatives Trade Support Analyst.”

This exciting role based on a Trading Floor (sitting next to multiple OTC FX & Commodity Derivatives Traders). Our clients trade very high volume OTC FX & Commodity Derivatives.

Our client is looking for a numerate graduate with a minimum of 2-years FX/ Commodities Trade Support, FX/ Commodities Middle Office, FX/ Commodities Operations/ FX/ Commodities Settlements experience gained for a reputable and high volume Trading “Sellside” (Institutional clients) Trading Investment Bank, or Brokerage.

The role offers a healthy mix of BAU day-to-day Operations, as well as related project work and having an aptitude to code i.e. Python, VBA, or SQL is also highly advantageous (but not essential). This is because our clients’ needs a driven “self-starter” who is super-motivated to both learn and work hard.

Any coding experience is advantageous, plus someone who is willing to commit to performing within and learning a multi-asset class Trade Support/ Operations role.

FYI, this is not a stepping-stone into the Front Office. Our client is looking for someone who solely wants a career in Operations and Trade Support.

The role is based on the trading floor and due to the success and growth in the business, our client does prefer people to be in the office x 4-days per week. There will be instances whereby you can work-from-home, especially the more experienced to you in the role, but due to the pace and complexity of the role responsibilities, our client would prefer someone who is committed to being in the office.

Salary

£50,000 k pa - £60,000 k pa, dependent upon experience, plus good bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
