CLASS 2 DRIVER - Burton Upon Trent

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.

Twelve months previous Class 2 Driving experience required for this role

There is a minimum of eight hours worked per day.

Must pass a driving assessment prior to start.

Shifts: Monday to Friday: start times between 01.30 - 04.30

Pay rate: £16.25 per hour

Day to Day Duties

As a Class 2 Driver with our client, you will:

• Complete two to five drops per day
• Deliver roller cages and totes
• Operate a tail lift
• Assist with handballing
• Drive Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensure all loads are safe and secure
• Complete any necessary paperwork

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver for our client, you would need:

• To be comfortable with early starts
• To have at least 12 months previous Class 2 driving experience
• To hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• To hold a valid CPC and Digi Card
• To have no more than six points on Driving Licence for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes

Training

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
