Quest Employment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Commis Chefs to join the kitchen teams at a Hotel and Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate individuals looking to develop their culinary career within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

As a Commis Chef, you will support the senior kitchen team in delivering high-quality food preparation and service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, banqueting, and events. You will work closely with experienced chefs while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional hotel kitchen.

This is temporary to permanent position, so if you are looking for full time employment, then this job is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Ensure ingredients are prepared and stored correctly
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
• Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
• Comply with all food safety and health & safety regulations
• Help with stock rotation and kitchen organisation

Requirements

• Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible approach to shifts, including weekends and evenings, majority of shifts are 2pm to 10pm
• Food Hygiene Certificate
